Saju AI v0.1.0 - First Release
The first version is on Google Play. No login, charts built from solar terms and true solar time, and AI text that reverts when it strays from the computation.
The first version is out
Saju AI 0.1.0 is on Google Play. Being a first release, this covers what's in it rather than what changed.
The computation
- Year and month pillars are divided by solar terms. Born before the start of spring and the year pillar belongs to the previous year.
- Day and hour pillars use true solar time, from the birthplace longitude and the equation of time.
- Korean standard time changes since 1908 and daylight saving periods are included.
The server and the app share one package for this, so the chart still builds inside the app with no server connection.

Guards on the AI text
Interpretations are written by a model but grounded only in the computed chart. If a response contains a stem or branch the chart doesn't have, that text is discarded and rule-based text is used instead. Model-written passages are labelled on screen, and with no server only the rule-based text appears.
Tarot interprets exactly the cards you drew. The server does not draw again.
Requests a reading can't answer are turned away before the model is called. Anything touching self-harm gets counselling contacts instead of a reading.
Account and data
There is no login. No name, no email; users are told apart by a device key, the hash of a device identifier. Birth profiles are removed after 365 days without access, reading history after 90.
Ads and payment
The app is ad-supported. A banner sits at the bottom of the screen, and an interstitial may appear on a screen change. Neither the birth-details screen nor the tarot card-picking screen carries a banner.
Most readings are free. Once the daily free allowance for a reading is used up, that one reading can be bought on its own. It's a consumable, used once and gone, not a subscription, and there is no watch-an-ad-to-unlock path.
Payment is handled by the App Store and Google Play. What the app sends to the server is the store-issued receipt; after verifying it, the server keeps only the list of unlocked readings against the device key and the transaction ids already applied, so the same receipt cannot be used twice.
